Hey there,
my name is Annie!
Here's a little about me...
I am a Certified Personal Trainer, accredited through The National Academy of Sports Medicine. I have experience working with individuals of all ages, with special needs in a small gym setting. There, I worked one-on-one with different individuals, and designed specialized exercise programs that worked towards their individual fitness goals. I am currently also training to become a Certified Boxing Coach for individuals with Parkinsons (through Rock Steady Boxing). My other past work experiences range from being a Certified Medical Assistant in orthopedic offices, to being a Certified Flexologist at a StretchLab facility. During my senior year at Rutgers University (New Brunswick), I was an intern for the Center of Disability Sports, Health and Wellness within the Kinesiology & Health Department. In spring 2024, I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Exercise Science.
In my free time, I love volunteering! I am currently a Special Olympics New Jersey Young Athletes Coach, as well as a member of The Creature Comfort Pet Therapy organization- with my dog, Buddy! (Look out for us at local libraries, nursing homes, schools and more!)
My hobbies include running outdoors, exploring new places, hiking in the mountains, anything music + art related, and being a dog mom.
